The project study went through a robust public engagement process including the use of Context Sensitive Solutions (CSS). From 2017 to 2022, the project included three stakeholder involvement group (SIG) meetings, a public information meeting, and a public hearing. To address Environmental Justice (EJ), the project performed additional outreach with project fact sheets and questionnaires in 2023 for both English and Spanish speaking populations. More public outreach is planned for when the project is closer to the beginning construction.
